He was born as the first child of a family with six children on 09.09.1962 in Sarız district of Kayseri. He completed his primary education at Pınarbaşı Melikgazi Elementary School, and his middle and high school education at public boarding schools; Kayseri Atatürk High School and Pınarbaşı High School in İnebolu.
He got into Gazi University Faculty of Medicine in 1982.
In 1988, he was graduated as a Doctor of Medicine.
He completed his compulsory service in Erzincan Çatalarmut Health Center in between 1988-1990.
He did his national service in Aksaz Naval Base in 1992.
He started his specialization in Ankara Numune Training and Research Hospital, Department of Orthopaedics and Traumatology in 1993.
In 1997, he received his surgeon degree.
Since his university years he has shown interest to traditional medicine, acupuncture, public health and phytotherapy.
In 2004, he attended Ozone Therapy courses of MODER (Medical Ozone Association) in which Reneta Vibahn participated as an instructor.
In 2005, he completed the phytotherapy courses of Ege University Faculty of Pharmacy, ARGEFAR department.
In between 2005-2007, he had completed the Neural Therapy, Chelation Therapy, Microsystem Acupuncture and Applied Kinesiology trainings provided by Neural Therapy, Complementary Medicine and Acupuncture Associations.
He is the former vice-president of Scientific Neural Therapy Association.
He is the former instructor of IGNH (German International Association for Neural Therapy).
He is the former instructor of BNR (Scientific Neural Therapy Association).
He has published articles, posters and studies based on the use of Ozone Therapy and Neural Therapy on orthopedic diseases, in various scientific platforms (BARNAT Magazine, TOTBİD Magazine).
He has participated in symposiums, congresses, courses, conferences and workshops in the field of Ozone and Neural Therapy as instructor, trainer and session leader.
In 2006, he completed Gazi University Reanimation and Resuscitation Course.
He does scientific studies particularly on wound treatment, ozone therapy on arthrosis, intraarticular ozone applications, neural therapy, prolotherapy applications, myofascial system problems and trigger points. He publishes his studies in various magazines (BARNAT – The Journal of Scientific Complementary Medicine, TOTBID – Turkish Society of Orthopedics and Traumatology Magazine)
In 2012, he wrote his first book “Ozone Therapy and Neural Therapy for Orthopedic Disorders”. This is the first Turkish book written about Ozone Therapy and second about Neural Therapy.
In 2012 he founded The Scientific Prolotherapy Association (BPoD). For first time in Turkey, he has launched the prolotherapy education in Denizli.
He is the founding president of BPoD.
His primary concern is the recovery of the patient by paying attention to use traditional and complementary medicine combined with his own branch, orthopedic disorders.
He currently continues his practices as an Orthopaedics and Traumatology Specialist in his private clinic. He particularly concentrates on chronic diseases of locomotor system, non-healing wounds and rheumatic diseases.
In 1989, he got married with teacher Emel; His son, Cem Baran is a civil engineer and his two daughters Mihriban Bahar and Lale are studying at primary school.
