OREGON PROLOTHERAPY
Kevin Wilson, ND
328 W. Main Street, Suite C
Hillsboro, OR 97123
Phone: (503) 648-0484
Dr. Kevin Wilson graduated from the National College of Naturopathic Medicine in
Portland, Oregon in 1983. He continues to be active in the naturopathic
profession, both locally and nationally, through membership in the Oregon
Association of Naturopathic Physicians (OANP) and the American Association of
Naturopathic Physicians as well as the American Academy of Pain
Management (AAPM) and the American Association of Orthopaedic Medicine (AAOM).
He has been an adjunct professor at the
National College of Natural Medicine for over 20 years and also serves as
the chairperson of the Legislative Committee of the OANP
Dr. Wilson has
not only served various board posititons, but also has been involved in the
legislative committee. He served a term on the Oregon Board of Naturopathic
Examiners (OANP).
He is the chairperson of the Formulary Council for the Oregon Board of
Naturopathic Examiners
Dr. Wilson has been doing Prolotherapy for over 15 years. He has been so
excited by the benefits of Prolotherapy, both with his patients and himself,
that he co-founded the Naturopathic Academy of Therapeutic Injections
which is dedicated to educating and instructing physicians in the use of
Prolotherapy and other injection therapies. He has pursued the management of
chronic pain far enough to become a Diplomate of the AAPM. And yet, he is a
general practitioner interested in the whole person and all of the factors
contributing to his patient's well-being. This has even lead him to get
certified in chelation therapy in that heavy metal burdens seem to interfere
with collagen repair.
"My mission is to help
people feel and perform their best. I attempt to not only treat illness, but to
help people choose food, activities and supplements or medicines that improve
their quality of life. As a naturopathic physician, it is my task to teach
people how to manage their lives to minimize illness and maximize their physical
and emotional potential. The foundation of optimal health involves
regular exercise and wise food choices. However, greater potential can be
realized by combining this foundation with natural therapies such as:
physical medicine,
intravenous administration of nutrients, amino acids, homeopathy, herbal
medicine, and prescription medications and hormones when needed. I also feel
that it is essential that all patient's health questions and concerns are
addressed."
Office hours are Monday, Thursday and
Friday 8:30am to 5:30pm and Tuesday 7:30am to 1:30pm
