Nori Onishi, D.O., opened his clinic, Blackwater Osteopathic Clinic, on Monday, July 21, 2008 in Morgantown, West Virginia. He is a 1999 graduate of The College of Osteopathic Medicine of the Pacific, Western University of Health Sciences in Pomona, California and completed his internship and residency at Greenbrier Valley Medical Center and West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine, both in Lewisburg, West Virginia in 2002. After his training, he worked with Indian Health on a Navajo Reservation in Chinle, Arizona, in Bethel and Klawock, Alaska, with the Veteran’s Administration in Seattle, Washington, in North Carolina, Virginia and West Virginia. He also spent four years working at Tri-County Health Clinic in Rock Cave, West Virginia where he enjoyed working with and getting to know his patients. He enjoys harassing his chickens and tending his garden and when time permits, he kayaks whitewater in the rivers and skis in the mountains of West Virginia. Blackwater Osteopathic Clinic has been relocated to Mt. Morris, PA to accommodate a growing clinic in a quieter environment that is easily-accessible to Interstate-79.
