About Dr. Vargas
Dr. Vargas – who is bilingual – is a board certified Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation specialist. He has focused his outpatient practice on treating worker’s compensation injuries, motor vehicle accidents, and chronic pain management in the adult and geriatric population. Dr. Vargas also treats acute and chronic musculoskeletal injuries and performs electrodiagnostic testing for such problems including Carpal Tunnel Syndrome, Cervical and Lumbar Radiculopathies, and diabetic peripheral neuropathy. Additionally, he is certified to treat opioid dependence with the use of Suboxone.

Dr. Vargas completed his undergraduate degree at University of Puerto Rico and completed Medical school at the Ponce School of Medicine in 2000. He did his residency at Baylor University Medical Center of Dallas graduating in 2004. Born in Puerto Rico, he has lived in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area since 2001.
