Dr. Littleford has been in private practice in Colorado since 1973. After graduating from Kansas City College of Osteopathic Medicine in 1972, he began in family medicine and gradually shifted his practice emphasis to manipulative and structural medicine. He is board certified in OMM since 1995.
His love of structural medicine led him to the study of prolotherapy (regenerative injection therapy) in 1988. He has utilized prolotherapy since that time, coupled with manipulation, for the treatment of acute and chronic pain problems resulting from auto accidents to sports injuries to recurrent structural dysfunction and headaches.
Dr. Littleford has taught manipulation to students for years. In the past 4 years Dr. Littleford has also taught prolotherapy and manipulation to physicians from around the world. In March, 2004, Dr. Littleford was a teaching physician for prolotherapy while on a medical mission in Honduras. This has solidified Dr. Littleford’s place in the prolotherapy community.
