About Dr. Diamond
Dr.
Diamond is a board certified Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation specialist.
Born in Houston, Texas, he has lived and practiced in the
Dallas/Ft. Worth area for over ten years.
Dr. Diamond completed his undergraduate degree at The University of Texas at
Austin and completed medical school at the University of Texas at Galveston in
1987. Dr. Diamond did his residency at Baylor University Medical Center in
Dallas, Texas. Dr. Diamond has served as Medical Director, Inpatient
Rehabilitation Unit at Irving Hospital, 1991-1994, and as Medical Director of
North Dallas Rehab, 1994-1997, and is the new medical director of rehabilitation
at HealthSouth Medical Center.
Dr. Diamond has focused his practice on treating all forms of musculoskeletal
injuries including work related and sports related injuries. He is an expert in
electrodiagnostic testing for such problems including Carpal Tunnel Syndrome,
Cervical and Lumbar Radiculopathies, and all forms of peripheral nerve injuries.
Dr. Diamond is also trained in joint injection procedures and lumbar spinal
injections for management of pain syndromes. He is well versed in the PROLO
Therapy ligament reconstruction procedures as well.
Dr. Diamond has been in private practice since 1991 and has several locations
across the Metroplex. Aside from his busy medical practice Dr. Diamond enjoys
spending time in his studio producing and recording local rock and blues artist.
